Environmental Education

  The earth is a school and we are sent here to learn. When we choose not to learn, we deprive ourselves of the opportunity to enrich our lives and raise our consciousness to a higher level of appreciation. We have learned from our parents that our minds are like sponges. If we could possibly visualize these sponges as being full, we would then have two choices. We could throw the sponge away since it has reached its capacity, or, preferably, wring it out; that is, share what we believe is right. The tree care industry has evolved to a much higher level of professionalism during the last fifteen years. It is important to pass-on the knowledge we have gained so we may continue to improve our industry and enlighten our clients to the proper needs of trees. Educational programs provided through Pacific Tree Care are designed to meet the needs of the person or agency requesting them, whether they be children, fellow arborists, garden clubs, or lay people with an interest in trees. We are able to provide a foundation for a greater understanding for the needs and cares of trees. The more we understand tree care needs, the more likely those needs will be fulfilled.
